Its going to be more of an mmorpg? Seems to be saying you can play the non human races much like Horde and Alliance in WoW, if I'm reading it right?

Greetings folks,
Had another 3 hours thrash on GW2 last night although the 1st hour was crash and bug central, seems they made some changes to the UI and it looks slightly better to me, once I did start playing it seems they have tweaked the drop rates (unless I was being the luckiest thief there was!!??) and the general feel was a lot smoother, the graphics are sharper and effects kinda a little more 'real'.
Tried to have a run in PVP but all the events were full, so tried out my 4 chars and tbh gonna find it hard to pick a 'main' although the hunter might just be shading it from the thief.
Well folks just over 2 weeks to wait till launch and hurrah for the extra 3 day start jobby, will be playing on Underworld server if anyone fancies to join

i caught excitement by osmosis and pre-ordered.
it is much more of a conventional MMO from what I've seen cull, just non-subscription.
IIRC it's not pay2win either. You can inject currency into the game via external purchases, ala eve's PLEX, but you don't directly buy things.
All in all, it looks pretty cool.

My old pc Died and using one thats barely good enough for surfing the net currently. New PC is due to arrive 27th so hopefully wont be too far behind everyone once I get it setup and download the game.
Missed out on most of the beta's due to this so pretty clueless about what to play yet

I'll be playing with Radiant Knights, starting with a Elementalist I think although a 2H Sword / Rifle Warrior is a strong contender and will be alt 1

Is this anygood? I've finally got a PC good enough to play one of these!
The only MMO i've tried was the free version of Lord of the Rings recently, I enjoyed the experience but the lack of other players (due to the game being so old) made it a rather solo experience, so i didn't bother upgrading.
Guild Wars 2 being a totally new game, should be well populated I hope! But for those playing does it live upto the hype, or does it feel unfinished/buggy?

It feels pretty clean bug wise, apart from the odd issues with guilds and the trading post being down, but admittedly this is the three day early entry, I presume they will have those issues fixed by full gold..
as for population it also seems busy, run into people all the time, but in all honesty not once grouped, that's something I am starting to worry about as I like to group, but hopefully that gets better as I level further, we shall see.
I only joined Piken as Medi is on there, but again if the server ends up being one of the low pop ones, I will payup and switch, I am here for the pvp so need a busy server for that ;-)

yes it is huge, loving the size of it all, even the pvp maps look v big not done much yet, more concentrating on levelling up.. loving the vista thingies lol
