Great night :)

In all honesty, I wouldn't have been as bothered as I should have been if we had been beaten - if the Mancs get through tomorrow night, there will be all sorts of serious trouble in Athens between the fans. Sad but true.

I still think its a tough ask for ManUre.

Ashley Cole was absolute toilet last night. His only contribution these days is to get the ball halfway between the centre circle and the 18 yard box and cross the ball in to.... no one. He's shit :D

Chelsea played the long ball all night. Anyone in the defence or midfield got the ball all they did was smack it upfield to Drogba. Really stupid, even worse when a potential match winner like Robben comes on and they totally ignore him (did he actually touch the ball in extra time?).

It was one of the worst games I've seen in the CL. Both teams played Route 1 football. It was hardly a good advert for English football, I have to be honest. Two negative managers playing excruciatingly dull football.

If that is indicative of the type of football Liverpool will play in the final, I'm cheering on Man United (or Milan). I hate Man U but at least they have been playing good football all season.

Liverpool as always were much better when Gerard was in the middle, as soon as he moved to the right and alonso went into the middle Chelsea took over.

Also although he's scored some important goals recently Solamon Kalou is useless.

Again i agree with ky! It wasnt a good footballing game, sure it was tense at times but quality had definately stayed in the dressing rooms.

I cant understand what Chelski are doing, they used to play a direct ball to Drgoba with the wingers and lampard countering with pace and that could destroy teams. However over the second half of this season thats become long balls over leaving massive gaps between the midfield and attack therefore negating any of the quality midfeilders we do have. I wonder if Lamps has neck ache from watching the ball passing over his head first in one direction then the other?

I like Mourinho as a manager (not a man, but i dont like Ferguson, Arsene or Benitez either) but he has alienated just about everyone in the world from Chelski and fear once he does leave it may take a while to make some friends again.

Grats to scouse but i fear either of those teams last night, based on footballing terms, will suffer at the hands of Man Utd or Milan. I hope for Man Utd as they are playing some of the best WINNING (Arsenal) football that weve seen for some years imo.

Is there a lot of personality clashes going on behind the scene's as well mate?

Players seem to not play when it would seem to make more sense to play them. Robben last night for example and what happened to Schevchenko?

I think maybe its the money and transfer dealings that have alienated the rest rather than Mourinho mate. I actually find him refreshing and good for a laugh but ultimately a bit of a pratt. Its what football is all about though and it would be a dull game if there weren't people like him about.

It was a very defensive game but then a lot of the players on show last night are the more tough, experienced, physical types and there wasn't a lot of flair out there until Socialist Workers Party and Robben came on so it was to be expected.

Baring a complete disaster at OT Chelsea won't be Champions this year. A League Cup and possible FA Cup is still a pretty good season but poor value per pound spent.

I think Mourinho sees Robben as "lightweight" and he struggles to chase back as the gaffer would like. Theres no surprise over the Shevchenko saga, Jose didnt sign him and for some reason insists playing one of the best strikers over the last ten years who has scored hundreds of goals by playing on the shoulders of the last defender as a wide man who has to chase back and run at people from the half way line! insane idea imo, if theres no place in your tactics for him.... don't play him simple and thats where the problem is, Roman is the big man at Stamford Bridge and he wants him to play. At many clubs in europe the board buy the players and the managers put a team together.

I've been saying for ages we wont catch United and i am very surprised they game us a chance over the last few weeks. They deserve it tbh, much the better side over the length of the season. I would pay good money to watch Rooney, Ronaldo and Giggs.

When the money first came i think Kenyon (now, he is a plonker) got all excited and wasted lots by buying just about anyone. Since then it has calmed and last summer untill Sheva we had spent little compared to previous summers. Unless we change managers i dont think a lot will be spent this year, i do think Robben, Geremi, Boulapants, Ferreira will leave. Unsure about SWP he has started to look his old self again, but will he get more games?

Kalou will come good if given a chance, he is 19ish and the dutch league is pants. He was a lot worse at the begining of the season, but again he was a striker in holland and is now playing wide.

Did Mourinho ask Robben if he wanted to take a pen at the end and Robben said no, took the first one anyway, and missed?

I've always been a big fan of Chelsea - pre-Maureen - as I've said before, my best mate in the army was mad about them, we call him Chels or Chelsea and I often used to go watch them with him.

I can't stand them at the moment, they have no class. Thats not down to the players, thats down to Maureen. How they didn't pick up bookings for diving over the two legs I'll never know. Usually they stayed down for ages as well; they just look stupid these days when they do that. They've turned into a joke in that respect.

I think people forget they have had a series of very progressive managers, who bought some great players and kept a lot of class. Hoddle, Gullit and Ranieri all made huge strides and left great players behind. They're no further foward in results this season than in Ranieri's last season and they've lost their class.

They have great players and I look forward to Maureen leaving; frankly they deserve better than him.

Hicks and Gillette will offer Rafa an open checkbook after last night; nowhere in sport can anyone experience anything like the atmosphere at Anfield last night.

On the game, I thought Pennant was outstanding and Makelele looks past his best. Huge blow to them losing Carvalho - their best plkayer this season, alongside Drogba. Oh and Mascherano was immense, the dogs nuts.

Condolencies to the Chelsea Assistant Director who's been missing since 00.30. His helicopter has now been found crashed. :(

Mind you, Lampard went missing about 19.45....
