Kickstarters

Not sure where to put this but i thought it might be cool to post kickstarters (games etc) that people are either backing or think looks cool.

Ill start:

Dungeon Dice: http://kck.st/11asgPB
This one appeals to me. A more complex version of Dungeon Roll which I backed for next to nothing. Currently in for around 50 on this. Loads of dice. (i suspect itll be close to 100 by the time its finished).

Alien Frontiers 4th Edition: http://kck.st/12ayOPX
Im on the fence on this one. Whilst I have this one backed im not sure. It does seem popular though and the stretches look good for the game. Its early incarnations seem to be well received on BGG.

All quiet on the Martian Front: http://kck.st/18rJGMF
Not backed.
Im watching this one. i cannot decide. The minis look superb and it looks like you get to recreate War of the Worlds. However my worry is take off generally, i suspect you would need to either buddy up or grab a high tier to make this one work.

TUG: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/nerdkingdom/tug-1
Kind of minecraft but pretty, I think suffering a little from Moyneuxitus with what they say it will do, but hey better to aim high

Stonehearth: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1590639245/stonehearth
Very excited about this, seems similar to 22cans Project GODUS which I'm also backing, but already has a much more fleshed out class and skill system, looking forward to setting up a peaceful monastery of monks ontop a mountain and seeing how it does :)

I've previously backed Wild West Exodus

http://http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/wildwestexodus/wild-west-exodus-sci-fi-western-miniatures-game

and Myth

http://http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1700755582/myth-0

I'm currently backing Deadzone (and am now kicking myself i didn't know about Kickstarter when Dreadball was released).

I'm watching All Quiet on the Martian Front, hoping it pick up pace and hit the spot where i'll back it as i love the idea of doing War of the Worlds in the correct time period, but at the moment it just doesnt quite seem to be a good enough deal to get me to buy into it.

Im like you on Dreadball, having bought kick off last week ive some other bits coming this week.

Im getting close to cancelled my pledge for Alient frontiers and switching it to Deadzone ....

AQotMF: im exactly like you, love the idea but just dont find it compelling enough right now, especially since I suspect few to no one will pick it up locally so id need a big pledge for a decent army..

Anubis

The Doggy Chimp
I have rarely seen anything worthwhile on this, but Promised Land and Canterbury look like good games (the latter may not look inspiring solely by the board) and may be added to my collection.

I've got Dark Darker Darkest on my watch list and i'm tempted to jump in on it, but i'm currently also backing the new 7th edition Call of Cthulhu rule books and Cthulhu Wars so i'll probably wait till the last minute before caving in :)

Funded. almost but not quite hit the $200K mark.

Elite on the rubber key speccy here, with an awful lens thing as the copy protection that you couldnt bloody see through. Then got the colour version on the Amiga and it just wasnt the same. :)

Elite on BBC > all, though I did still enjoy it in CGA on the x88, though the copy protection was a pain

Every time I see a ship docking with a space station in a movie I hear the BBC Elite docking computer music :)

Christ there's a lot of guff on there to wade through as well. I've just wasted 5 minutes of life going through a page where some fat bloke is raising money to save the sausage.
