Gave it a quick try and found it to be a bit, "meh". Looked Ok and all but didn't seem to offer much beyond random fantasy MMO #124. Should I persevere? Have I missed something?

Wasnt a fan when I started in Alpha but now enjoying it loads. The more you play the more fun it seems to get :)

Still waiting on ESO but this will do in the meantime. Defiance is somehow being classed as a MMO when its a shooter with a few missions. Gets boring fast.

That seems to cover it Cathral. It's more of a "pick up and cruise about for an hour or two smacking things" rather than "srs mmo". If you are looking for a deep gaming experience, avoid it, but if you want a DDO universe themed dungeon crawler that doesn't cost you anything, hop right in.

I'm suffering from Altitus though. 15 rouge is a bit easy. 9 control wizard is a bit "wizard" so trying out a GWF. Seems a little underpowered for now but catching up nicely.

My Rogue is 19 and loving it. Got a Cleric but barely played him and want to try a Greatsword Fighter but wondering what the other class to come will be. Hoping Druid but will see.

Cleric if fun in an offence way. Healing is "different". Really need to read the instruction book to find the "best" healing method.

I'm wondering if you are counting accidental Vampiric Embracing 10p ?

ION i found some awesome Foundry Quests yeterday. The first part is called "Crypts of Chaos" or something suitably cheesy. The plot begins a bit silly and uninspired yet by the second part a strong growth of the dev is obvious. I forget it's name though.

Hopefully I can dig out some less vague info.

Enjoying this, perfect for me with young ones and not able to play more than 20mins at a time. Odd skirmish, dungeon at a push and plenty of questing with my companion. Love the cleric companion just spams healing dots on you :) sneaky stealthy type seems great dps..
