hehe.. that reminds me of the time I was playing a 2nd edition druid/mage. Cast magic missle at a frost giant and uttered those words, only to find the frost giant pick up a bolder and said "dodge this", which I didnt and almost died.

1) It was a bit of a rush last night I have to agree, I have forgotten that we have relatively new players (probably because you're all doing good jobs )

2) I noticed a lot of mobs turning to you Jett just before they got to me (which kind of points at them being behind you but I suppose you may have rotated). The ones who weren't intimidated were likely hypno'd by Zed.

3) We may have to just re-group and reform after each encounter and get into a PnP marching order. Possibly with Skar up top with Jett just behind? As soon as we engage I'd be tumbling behind Jett anyway

I think I'm going to start getting rid of the sets from Korthos and getting standard equipment. The set bonuses are nice but it does tie down your slot use. So having turned down goggles galore I may well be needing them. I'll have to look at my current equipment

We play on Keeper.

The Tuesday static group is full unfortunately, but get yourself a trial and have a look at how the game has changed. There's still a couple of us I think that play outside Tuesday and we usually join The Spellswords who are a nice group of mature gamers.

When we originally started back we decided to start afresh and not have any twinkage. There were also issues listed on the EU forums at the time about game breaking lag on Devourer. So it was win win for us

If you play a character faithfully - no twinkage, only use what you buy and what you find then theres no reason to not be a stand in for if someone cannot make it.

Easy to do, just dont send random loot to yourself from other characters including cash ;-)

Well all of my characters are on Devourer anyway, and all but one fit the above requirements (hey I joined CUK in the diablo days don't forget!). Let me know if you need an extra but to be honest without a regular group its just not worth it! might try and find a table top group instead if I can, bit difficult to find them these days though!

Is Gatley up to date? Just checked streetmap and thats only 3 miles from me which is probably as scary for you as it is for me

I was thinking of looking for some PnP whilst I waited for my Friday group to reform and the place I'd probably look at is Fanboy3 on Newton Street. They have regular gaming and a message board so you may find somewhere closer to home as well.

(weird after current situation above, lol) and i'm not sure if i'll be able to make any others at the moment.. something important has cropped up that I need to do on Tuesday eve's which I cant change unfortunatly. Not been able to get on recently but my mate that asked about joining is still interested.

We managed a session tonight (I'm using my warforged fighter) and we got him to about 38k XP, so we are planning to run tomorrow as well (likely doing the Leaky Dinghy quests, Garrisons etc to try and get him up to 4th level at least).

His character is Cattarina Silverstar a 3rd level Paladin - dual wield.

Okay got him to 54k so about 16k behind us, but I will try and play catch up with him with my alt.

Just a thought looking at the massive amount of content we are in danger of out-levelling given our guidelines.

Should we stop progressing through to Hard and Elite?

We have the marketplace which has quests 2-7 before we hit the houses which I think are 3+ and we also have 3 barrel cove and the Necropolis.

Thoughts?
