Vaughan and Flintoff were screwed by the pitch tbh, particularly Freddie. Pietersen showed the way to play; get on the front foot to McGrath. Ironic about all the so called "experts" saying he has suspect technique.

Hopefully he can nurse the tail tomorrow morning and get us close to the Aussie total. If not, its game over.

I'd forogtten it was on... turned if on finally at about 4pm.. england were 48-5 and my first thought was "f-ing henry how the hell have they only managed to score 48 runs in a full days play"... of course it slowly sank in that the Aussies had batted first and we must have skittled them out.

Didnt see the wickets until later that night - the aussies were to blame for half of their own wickets, not the bowlers, but McGrath - geesus - now THAT was bowling.

t see this going to 5 days unless the wicket dies overnight.

I jus find it amusing when England bowled out Austrailia for a low total, it's the English bowlers you credit (fast nasty aggressive bowling, best since the 80's or something - can't be bother to find your quote) and lots of arrogent smug comments. Yet when the aussie's destroy England on the very same pitch on the same day, it's the pitch and groundkeepers (who should be shot appariently) fault. Remind me who the bad losers are again Ky?

What, the bit where I say McGrath is a genius, the greatest bowler of our generation and I'm a bad loser? Vaughans and Flintoffs deliveries kept low, which is due to the pitch. Did you watch it? No. So how can you comment?
