It's no wonder women don't take much interest in football really, as soon as they show any interest they are mocked and belittled by sexist comments.

I don't think that's necessarily the case. The major problem is the number of women who claim to be into football who only started taking an interest when it became "cool" to be a female fan. I can cite my younger sister as a prime example. She started supporting ManUre when Zoe Ball was always yapping on about them, switched to Liverpool when she met her boyfriend and started "supporting" Chavski last season. Is it any wonder women fans don't get taken seriously?!

Because of this I tend to get grilled to see whether I know what I'm talking about whenever I end up talking about football, but I've never been mocked or belittled other than for my choice of team. :) TBH tho that's probably fair comment given I've been misguided enough to support Spurs for 17 years.

Here's to another season of mid table mediocrity...

LOL!

I'm not sure you should have mentioned Spurs on here. There's too many glory hunting rabid Arsenal fans, who, incidentally, know fuck all about football but because they reckon they're middle class they support Arsenal. Bunch of c*nts if you ask me.

Ah, but I'm feeling happy today...

Thimothee "Bambi" Atouba is off, we completed our customary not particularly impressive pre-season victory over Stevenage, all is well with the world.

Of course expect this all to deteriorate rapidly come the start of the season, but that's the comforting thing about supporting Spurs, you start with low expectations so you can't really be disappointed.

:D

Try supporting West Ham, its the land of expecting fuck all and occasionally getting it.

There are plenty of males who do this too. Ky for example goes to see Arsenal regularly yet 'claims' to be a West Ham fan
You support Spurs and I think they have a geniune shout for 4th place this season, aleast you have lots of potential, I'm stuck with Leicester :(

I go to Arsenal because my son supports them? Seems reasonable to me.
