I can get both for anyone who wants, so you can have either or both whichever you fancy, however multiple copies of each title per person I can't really do as there are others here who are after them too. Other than that I'll try to sort you all out with what you ask for.

I'll call Friday the last date for this as I expect supplies will be low / run out by then.

Normally can't get stuff this cheap, however we had a sale of some bits at Xmas for charity and there was some left over which is what I am currently nabbing for you.

Doesn't ring any bells. Also depends if she is studio HR or publishing / marketing HR as to whether she is even on the same floor as me. I've been around here a fair while tho as I'm ex-Bullfrog.

As regards other games we only get a certain allowance each year which I tend to burn through quite easily. The Breakthrough and Secret Weapons are different as where they were in the charity thang they don't count towards our allowance.

:D Syndicate was a wee bit before my time, I was in the office interviewing, visiting and generally hanging around and making a nuisance of myself while Magic carpet was being done, joined at the end of Carpet 2 and was thrown into the testing of that. Spent over a year working on an underwater game called Creation that was canned. The main bullfrog bits I worked on were the Dungeon Keeper games. Then went onto doing some Footy manager stuff for EA Sports as Bullfrog wound down then I ended up on the eternal project which is Potter.

As regard the games I've got 4 copies of each sat on my desk for those who have asked for them. It turns out that I'm likely to be working when the clan meet at the end of the month is happening (due to Alpha). Are you all going along to it? If you all are I could send them up via Merly, if not we'll see about sorting posting them or something.

And couldn't agree more about Populous, it was the game that made me want to get a job here (along with Syndicate, quite liked Powermonger too!)

Populous II on the amiga was excellent, never got to play the third incarnation. Any plans for a new one? I'd buy it :)

I thought Black&White was going to be the new Populous, but it wasn't very good.

Black and White was so disappointing. If a beta tester had played the game through once they would have noticed so many flaws in it, and the cursed creature bug I suffered was, frankly, unforgivable. I seriously think EA released a beta copy by accident or something. Huzzah for its innovation though.

Best moment came when, midway through the third level, amoungst the constant whispering of "deatttth" and very shortly after me shouting "I feckin fed you peasants three minutes ago, leave me alone!" there came, whispering accross the landcape "Nicholas..."

Stopped drinking coffee for a week after that :grin:
