VERY cheap Secret Weapons and Breakthrough on PC

3rd one is a bit of a departure for the series it is almost a totally different game to the first 2. A few ideas to do with various sequels get kicked around once in a while so you never know!

You are quite correct, but that isn't quite the whole story, you see every Bullfrog game started off being called Creation.

Populous was called Creation initially, so was Syndicate but got changed to Bob soon after (bob = Blue and Orange Bloke). Then Magic Carpet got started and soon after that the early work on both Keeper 1 and Creation (this time the name stuck) started. Was then worked on for over 2 years before being canned and looked damn good (not that I am biased at all!), but alas was not to be. Think I've still got the demo kicking around somewhere...

So yes it did look like Creation was on Bullfrog's books for a very long time, but it's not the whole story....

The whole MS thing is basically what you have read in the press, so I'll let our CEO address that:-

"We have had ongoing discussions with Microsoft about supporting their Xbox Live functionality. It really comes down to a difference in philosophy about the business model. They�re creating a new revenue and profit stream. They want to use our intellectual property. They don�t want to compensate us for the use of our intellectual property. We think that�s a little unrealistic. It would be akin to someone starting a new cable channel and going to HBO or ESPN and saying, we�re going to use your content, but you�re not going to be compensated for that. I doubt that they would get much of a reception from HBO or ESPN. And so, we�ve been having ongoing discussions. The negotiations continue to this day. We�re moving closer and closer together in terms of a business model that we think is palatable. I think we�ll eventually get there. In the meantime we are very, very strong on the Sony platform, supporting their functionality."

Hopefully all the issues will get resolved soon.

As regards Activision, the game I have been telling peeps to go out and buy recently is Call Of Duty as it is the win...!!!
