Castle ravenloft is the game you want.

B@HoTH is a bit like it but at some point in the game one player becomes the 'evil' person and is out to stop the rest of the group. Cant really play it well with 2 players i find.

Descent is superb though.

Im looking at Last night on Earth as a zombie fest game. Saw it in waterstones the other week

Yeah Ravenloft is a good if hard game, very deadly :)

Board games seem to have become very expensive lately I agree though descent you do get a lot for your money. A friend has it and all the expansions and there is a load of figures, characters, treasures, quests etc in it that we havent finished playing them all yet. Some games have lasted over 8 hours so be warned :)

Well thanks to some forgotton about Natwest points I have enough for one big or two smaller boardgames, next time you are in the area Zed bring one of your choice and there can be curries and boardgames.

Descent does look like you get alot, but like Zeus I want co-op stuff, maybe I'll get Arkham ...

My wishlist looks like this (in no particular order):
* PitchCar
* Runebound: A Fantasy Adventure Board Game [With 5 Movement and 12 Hero, 72 Adventure, 84 Market and Counters and Mapboard and Rules]
* Talisman
* Dungeons & Dragons Castle Ravenloft Board Game
* Descent: Journeys In The Dark
* Bohnanza
* Munchkin Quest
* Diplomacy (New Edition)
* Arkham Horror: A Call of Cthulhu Boardgame [With 5 Dice and Rule Book, Tokens, Cards, Etc. and Gameboard]
* Settlers of Catan

Some good games from Essen:
7 Wonders
Merchants and Marauders
Civilization
Innovation
London
K2
Also Rallyman is a good race game
Dominion is good, Thunderstone is similar but more character driven. Both are deckbuilding games

Sexy?
I've played a couple of games of Dominion, think it won a game of the year type award last year or summat.

Seemed quite good, gameplay varied quite heavily in the different modes though. As you only play with a small portion of the available cards whether you have a bias towards the cards which affect other players or ones which improve your own lot changes it quite a bit.

Does anyone have Betrayal at house on the hill? I have read that the room boards are prone to warping, if they do does anyone have a solution to stop this?

New Games wish list

1. Dominion - played intruge today with a friend and loved it. Simple and damn well addictive card/deck building game

2. Arkham Horror - still keep coming back to this one. only 'vaugely' played it before though.

3. Last night on earth - zombie fest. anyone got/tried this one?

4. From Q1/Q2 2011 i like the look of Mansions of madness a new cthulu type game from FFG

Anyone have thoughts on 1 & 2 as i cannot decide which.

Last Night on Earth - Excellent fun with plenty of players, its proper co-op zombie randomness with one person being the zombie master, its fairly fast to play and very good fun indeed, I strongly recomend getting the expansions also though.

Is this 2nd edition or the 1st edition? On board game geek it says the ones on the newest edition start to warp as soon as they are removed from the packaging ( theyre getting them fixed though I think). Looks an awesome game but going to wait for the fix.
