just taking a leaf out of your manual, how to be irrelevant yet have an almighty opinion of everything even though I have only ever played 1 MMG to date while sitting on a gamers forum for years talking drivel :/

which is correct mate, thus why I have never said any game will be a WoW killer as the majority of players are carebears and pve people, won't change my opinion though of WoW and how much damage it has done to MMG's, which has nothing to do with PvP more to do with how the genre has been dumbed down.
ps wtf has this to do with PvP and RvR mate? i am talking about the WoW killer and arguing with Janie don't be offended if i slag of your game, more than welcome to slag of WAR which is my current home, I won't take offence
Only that you mentioned the poorly implemented RvR as a contributing factor to the problems with WAR and I thought that even if they had implemented the best RvR in the world it probably would have had little effect on the overall longterm success of the game.
I agree with you about WoW mostly (and don't play it anymore) but I also admire what they have done. They have taken a genre that, when we played UO for example, would have been ridiculed and laughed at by the average joe. Now its the average joe playing it as well. It has pretty much destroyed any creativity in MMO's though and thats a bad thing. It doesn't look as though there is anything fresh for a long time.
I'll stay in my little hobbit hole I think for the next few years.

And given my limited playtime and jumping around servers and generally having a life I think I've done pretty well in Warhammer, certainly still totally enjoying it !
Yesterday for example instead of playing I made a shepards pie, tidied the spare room, cleaned the toilet and bathroom, farted around on Little Big Planet, got a squig herder to level 5 (or 6 ... click on my profile and look at the burlok stuff).
And I may not be a power-gamer any more, but I'm really looking forward to shooting Marks in the back of the head and locking him in a room full of zombies, which has to count for something (and yes I know in reality I'm more likely to get locked into the room full of zombies but it's nice to dream)

It may be a while before i get it as the cunting bank have pinched �500 off me for the liberty of paying off a loan with them which i wasnt expecting (though it was in the original contract if i'd bothered to read it )
