Your opinion is worthless....
Achalon Cavern seemed to be level 30 - I got a mail about it, and it linked to the story. It was tough!

Anyone make an arguement for bothering with trade skills? I started with jewelling and tailoring - gave up on tailoring when it reached about 70 and started to require 8 of the crafting item to make one thing (bank space was a problem too). I've stuck with Jewelling and kept it well in pace, but most of the stuff I make I can by for a handful of copper on the auction house, or buy equal quality from traders. Are trade skills going to benefit me at the endgame at all? Because quite frankly I'm finding it tedious now, it's just repeating the same steps for every new metal level. It's easily the least fun part of the game - and I reckon if I said sod it and sold all the 'trade items' I've collected I could make a shed load of cash.

Yes i do find crafting a bit like that, just hit t3 for my leather crafter, so now I have to wait until my thief is high enough to get upto the area for that armour, admittedly just made him a lovely set of level 35 armour :)

My brief experience of the WvW thingy is it tends to get bottled up all to easily around a keep - where the offensive team can't get to the gate to destroy it with all the defenders on the walls - leading to a load of players just standing around out of range of each other.

unfocussed pvp is terrible....
however:
to repair walls / build stuff you need supply. Attackers cut off the enemies supply, take supply camps, steal supplies, build siege weapons, destroy the keep date / walls, run in, slaughter them.

While this goes on, defender groups stage breakouts, retake supplies, kill rams / ground defenders, sprint out to destroy lightly defended siege engines, pick up supplies, build balistae/catapults/arrow carts, massacre defenders, kill enough, charge out, kill / rout the rest, get loot, follow back to another keep, build siege engines, roll through it and push on to VICTORY!!!!!

Crafting... you shouldn't run out of bank space.... you simply put stuff in your craft supplies bank no?

in all honesty, they have the craft supply vaults, but the main bank vault shared by characters is stupid they need to expand it..

True, but you can't use them directly from there so you have the tedious task of constantly emptying it into either your normal bank or your back packs (if you want to discover new recipes). And when you've got about 20 different versions of 'claws' and the like, it just becomes maddening - when there seems no payoff.

Liking the Engineer a hell of a lot, loving crafting - " discovering" recipes rather than just buying them or relying on drops is mint. I made an earing! Amazin' ! I'm not entirely sure how, but this game has taken the sheer drudgery out of a lot of aspects of mmos. Love not having to make 500 bags just so I can make the next size up.

iirc, you still cant use them for Discoveries directly from the collectibles tab :(

tru dat. but most discoveries for levellign are "sigil + item A + item B" which you can figure out. It's really not hard. especially as you quickly figure out what to plop into your inventory... cmon man up
