I would seriously reccomend focussing on one or the other of those, rather than trying to both at the same time. Getting the "special" mats for both is nigh on impossible without farming full time rather than simply playing the game.

Yeah only messing with armoursmithing for now, as weapons uses alot of the same components.

Was thinking of taking a different second craft that might complement armoursmithing, for bags etc.

Any advice? Sod all around just yet infowise.

Oh and armoursmiths can make bags? Where are the recipies for all this :(

Boxes. Copper=8. Iron=10, Steel=12, Darksteel=15 not sure above that, but they gonna be pricey.
At the top of your crafting tab page.

Pick up any of the main crafting professions (tailoring / armoursmith / huntsman) and convert your jute/ore/leather into 8 slot bags.

I am a Tailor, but I only realised I could salvage clothing very recently, so i'm along way down on my Tailing level!

Whats with all the Rangers and Guardians in this game? They seem to make up 90% of the players I meet!

Norn Necro for my replay. ACtually Git is right it feels a better zone to me. Still see this as a pick up / put down game compared to the story line in TSW but thats just me - im probably a little tired with the whole Fantasy line right now

Your opinion is worthless....
I do like the zone, seems well put together and I play an Asura so found it easier than my home zone, admittedly I might well try the other zones but in all honesty it's big enough that you don't need to.

Agreed - the Norn starter area is my favourite - though I'm biased, being tall, blond and blue eyed.

Unfortunately after my initial charge, the kids are starting to catch up. Prime example being some idiot in Sparkfly Fen (or whatever) last night demanding to know where all the group events are, spamming locations, demanding participants, while simultaneously whining about being under-levelled, whining about dying, whining about everyone on a map not rushing to help him and trying to sell terrible loot.

Finished the zone (55-65) 2 levels under cap though. nerf Guardians.
(Admittedly, having a full set of top-tier armour waiting at each 5 level point, plus weapons probably helps).

I'm loving the flavour of each zone though. If you take a bit of time to talk to scouts, locals etc there is a lot of lore and information about what's going on, what dynamic events are happening, how you affect them and such like.

And finally, i was part of my second 'end of zone' dragon event yesterday. Took possibly 30 minutes of belting aroudn killign adds, knocking down walls, manning siege weapons, dodging aoe's, killing adds, charging dragons ressing people buffing healing and generally having fun. Didn't get any screenshots unfortunately - however here's a few of the first one - Shatterer, who's in Blazeridge Steppes and seems to land every couple of hours, if people do all the little events around him.

Hitting them with siege weapons really helps.....

My only complaint with the game so far I have is underwater fighting is awful.
My other problem is self inflicted in that I have to complete an area before moving on - went to Lions Arch last night for the first time and my entire 2.5 hours play time was spend getting it to 100%.
I 100% completed Caledon Forest the Plant peoples 1-15 area and their major city 'The Grove' and they are the only places i've been so far - time to move on tonight if I get the chance to play.
I like the Plant Peoples start area - but not having seen any of the others I can't make any comparisons, same with the Mesmer - I'm enjoying it alot.

Favourite moment so far - Group quest Killing the Troll King in a overflow server, just as he goes down it pops up with the 'travel to your real server' I do that and instantly get squashed by The Troll King...

I run around solo mostly Chick, and by accident fall into group events lol, i would love to group but it seems no one does or ive not done so, in wvw have i grouped up :)

all in all it seems easy enough to just pootle around killing shizzle and getting xps and randomly falling into events without any real effort, as for guardian no idea apart from they must need a nerf if your playing one... . ... . . . .

in all honesty depending how it goes, I might switch server but rumour has it Legs is coming to play, so at least I will have a partner in crime *muhahahha*

That's exactly how I play too.. Am far too ADD to group up. I spent 45 minutes yesterday getting to a Rich vein :)

Major World events tend to gain a certain amount of attention in /map though

Another hilarious evening of 3W. 300 moments of 20 vs 60 man zerg, ploughing into them, scattering them, falling abck, regrouping hitting them again - basically kiting them back to a keep then holding the keep for 40 minutes as the zerg grew and grew and grew to the point where we simply couldn't hold the gates shit, then holding the open gateway for another 10 minutes until force of numbers killed us.

Then the server died.

The end.
ps. ding 69 - duuuude!

pps. i've re-built my guardian to sword/torch & greatsword spec with tons of points into condition damage and shizzle. it's brutal. I can post more infos if you care?

ppps: finally - Stripper Class PHeavy Armour:

Still unable to find a copy in any local stores. Play say they have it, but I have been caught out by that before, they say they have it but what they actually mean is " we'll order it and send it when we get it".
