US server worked for a while, then just as me Chick and Corwin finally met up, the server closed to make people move over to EU server.
Which didn't work for me. \o/
So got a grand total of 0 partying done. /sniff

managed to get onto the eu server eventually and cleared out act 1.

it's really good fun.

Is this gonna be worh buying when it comes out? I've read mixed reviews that suggest the gameplay being pap but the character development and gear modification being addictive. I've a �20 PC World voucher burning a hole in me pocket and I'm torn between waiting for this release or picking up Oblivion or summit.

it r good, i'm looking forward to playing it as zed sugested, when you are bored / fustrated with other things.

and corwin can PL us all as he's a nerd \o/

thoughi have no clue as to the lastability of it, but i'd say it's beter than oblivion, that's for sure.

I'm up for some grouping this week or next, depending on when it arrives. I'm hopeing it'll be before friday to give me a chance to level up before spendinga long weekend with the love of my life.

heh no, but i'm only about 2 weeks off command ships now, so i may be back in game soon. need to liquify alot of assets and then buy some serious faction hardware for it. This one. Almost as good as a Machariel.

Runs fine on vista, but the DX10 version of the client needs a high spec machine as you only have the High and Very high texture options, although that might have been a beta constraint.

Machine is a good spec for all I need to do on it at the moment, if it's not up to scratch I'll just leave it alone and stick with my much easier console gaming and Warhammer on the DS (though I think it's release clashes with other stuff :( too many games after a drought is bad planning)

the DX9 version runs fine on vista btw, it's just the DX10 gorgeousness needs a beast of a machine to run at full spec at 1650x1080 or whatever i was trying to play it out. Was playing at 1650x1080 and 1280x900 in dx9 with not many problems, just certain areas caused massive amounts of slowdown for no reason.

quality, I'm planning on buying 2gig of ram this Wednesday to make sure my laptop's up to the job. No doubt I'll have other problems to whine about though... time being the main one.

You all planning on playing through together or will Corwin be level 90 by the time the rest of us finish work on Friday :p
