The thing that really gets me is we have 5 or 6 world class players and the rest are very good players and we still play shite.

Something I noticed last night was Rio Ferdinand was poor, he doesn't seem to play well without Terry or Campbell to tell him what to do.

Scott Parker needs games under his belt to get back to his best, wasn't used enough at Chelsea and it's not done his form any favours but yes he's an option IF he can recapture his form, not sure he will do that at Newcastle. Carrick, don't really know enough about him to comment but from what I've read good future prospect but not yet ready.

Interesting (and worrying) too read the FA are unlikely to sack Sven due to the huge payoff they'd have to give him, doesn't seem he's likely to resign either. So we could be stuck with him for a while, if he loses the respect of the players we could be dooooooooomed!

He's got a "Golden Handcuffs" package that I think will cost the FA 4 million or so to get rid of him before the end of his contract.
