i've not played it, but saw it in action yesterday...
ground combat = buggy. saw one mission my mate couldnt complete as he was constantly being shot at from underground, so it wouldnt let him scan the crates he needed to
lookedl ike it could be good when its working smoothly, though.
space combat - looked fun, but a bit easy for now - this was low level though, so wont hold that against it.
shopping/economy - as ridiculous as we knew it would be. in a system with replicators and suchlike, how can there be any justification for rare items and suchlike? given that all that matters is the energy in something, why can a ground combat item even compare to a ship's main battery?
but meh, economy was always going to be hard in a universe where, essentially, everyone has everything they want.
i'll give it a go, but probably not at release. looks a bit too buggy and unpolished for that.
