the first few hours of Clanuks inspeption (sp) were spent comparing kit and duping it

yeh, i remember that vaguely think that was largely why we put in the no duping rule - all of us running round with godly plates of whale, KSOHs, and demonspike coat rings would get fairly boring

It was Sheleph when he helped draft the CUK charter, back when Jed was running the site. I agree it does sound a bit wussy

Note that this charter came about 18 months after CUK actually started, when a couple of people tried to re-invent it as a UO clan (oh, and we play some Quake and Diablo too). And i'm quite aware there was a rogue undercurrent of hacking and duping in early CUK, I chose to ignore it. Goes with the Quake heritage I guess
