I dunno, I can't think of a time where I ever used more than 6 skills in diablo or WoW per fight. Granted, there were a few one off things, but you can just re do the skills per fight. Might be nice to have some actionbars like in WoW. So you could have a 4 skill setups or something and just switch between them inbetween fights.

i'd be ok with action bars - so long as you still got the cooldown on using skills when you swapped between them. so it just saved you having to remember all your rune setups, rather than actually saving much time.

I would have preferred say 6 action bar keys plus left and right mouse,

Mainly because I can only reach 1-6 while keeping my hand on WASD, although D3 doesnt use WASD

But yeah Zeus, thats what I meant, just a ctrl+1,2,3,4 or up/down buttons like on WoW to be able to switch between skill+rune setups. I imagine its already been suggested anyway.

I'm surprised they don't have the alternate armor things either, for MF/Normal builds, etc.

I completed Normal on my Barb last night, and am now pushing the final part of Act1 nightmare and am very happy with the step up in difficulty so far.

I am currently swapping between a couple of different builds to try to get a good feel for them, but it seems either a no-fury (+passive +25% damage) Frenzy/Cleave combo or Cleave/HotA. 1-4 are the basic Leap, Revenge, War Cry and the "Summon 3 dudes" which I am finding is essential for Elite/Champion packs. I can post a full build if any of you care.

itemisation I can't complain about. Got 1 legendary on my first group play through with a friend, around the start of Act2, and a mate recently handed me a lvl 36 Legendary 2h sword which has made life much easier.

I am terrified about the start of act3 though, as on normal it kicked 7 shades out of me, though hopefully I am far better at the game than i was then (yesterday morning) \o/ Hope to get to it in the next day or so though - will keep you posted. Could have to level up a DH or something (i hear they are easy) to feed my barb gear later on in the game.

9/10 so far but we'll see how it goes.

The forums are the usual cesspool :facepalm:

Edit: Hang on why haven't i been using Seizmic slam o_O

hrmm interesting as i noticed yellows arent much better than blues, but i am more bothered about the axe i bought on the ah which never appeared in my stash, awaiting a reply to that ticket!

as for PvP i shall reserve that for GW2 when it comes along ;-)

git> when you buy it, it goes on the "completed" tab, where you have to click "send to stash". Unless you already knew that, then ignore me :)

I did mate, only problem is the item never moved to that tab so i have not been able to send to stash, this why i have a problem ;-)

Aggy suggested though it was worth selling cos id get 368gps for it! Talking about killing my enthusiasm

I bought the game yesterday and I am already annoyed with it. I was able to play 30 minutes yesterday and was looking forward to playing a bit more today. Can't log onto the server. I swear, if any other company than Blizzard did this kind of copy protection, nobody would buy their games.

I have to wonder what will happen a few years from now. D1 and 2 you can keep playing single player but when Blizzard dont support their servers do we lose access to the game or will they introduce an update to allow us to play it locally?

I was actually looking forward to Guild Wars 2, too. I wonder whether their servers are more stable... Would be a huge selling point for me right now. I spent 50 quid because I was bored. Now I am down 50 quid, and still bored.

Bear in mind that Blizzard still patch StarCraft (the original, not II), so I wouldn't be too worried about DIII servers closing down any time soon.
