Avatar the last airbender, a cartoon I've got into that's on saturday mornings, basically described as a 300+ year old kid with an arrow painted on his head that can manipulate the air.

Hmmmmmm one of the only reasons I was considering a Wii was more Monkeyball and Zelda.....oh well I can justify not getting one even longer now :)

i r been given teh wii for christmas.

Just doing teh software updates now.... and then going for booze.

Hope you enjoy it Roch, given the choice avoid Monkey Ball, the multi-player games really are pants, Rayman from everyone I've spoken to that has it is far far superior (and you get to shoot bunnies with sink plungers)

It looks very nice but I've got a killer hangover this morning so Wii sports seems a loooooong way away.

Golf will cure that mate :) or perhaps some bowling (make sure you have enough space infront of you, you seem to naturally take a spet forward when you bowl)

Did you get any other games ?

Make a Mii, go online, see other people's Mii's in the plaza, make a Mii of someone famous (we're getting better at this now playing "Guess Who" with some friends with Wii's), Go Online, Check the weather in spain, etc, etc :)

Tips:
rotate the wii-mote when using it and notice the pointer rotate :)
Hold A+B in the main menu to shuffle the channels around
Register your e-mail address on the Wii so you can send e-mails from your Wii to you e-mail address and vica-versa (will be more useful when Opera goes live which should be tomorrow)

etc, etc

Are some of the bigger Wii release being delayed until later on in 2007 now? Heard Mario and a couple of others had been put back.

arse bum, last post was lost. long and short version:

Nintendo said Metroid, Mario and some other one will be out some time in 2007, rumours start they mean end of 2007.

Personally I reckon Metroid and either Mario or Animal Crossing will be held back to come out on the PS3 release in Europe, which I'm happy with, it means there is more chance Metroid may have multiplayer support :D

Was quite happy without a Wii here for now (too much to play on the 360 anyways at the moment). However peeps here have started banging on about the browser and the fact that sports isn't going to be bundled with it permanently, and now I want one! :bouncy3:
