World of Tanks thread :D

Been loving World of Tanks but the absolute drudge of the grind between a Grille and a Hummel has killed it for me. Oh that and the speedhacks and hacks that allow folk to shoot you through a mountain with their tank.

Grinding the M3 Lee was murder too.

Still I enjoy it for a quick blast.

What I meant was that I enjoy WoT for a quick blast, not that bloody awful M3 Lee!!

Got my M4 Sherman now though and heading for the E8 eventually.

Hmm Last time I looked the Hummel was 47,600 xp and 250,000 creds. Researched it earlier on and its now 500,000 creds. More bloody grinding to do

downloaded this and it looks great except none of the other tanks are appearing for me

Never had to fiddle with any settings, so sorry no idea.
Lag really affects loading though, is your connection ok?

Not had this problem but you could try and fiddle with the settings, though from memory they are pretty basic.

Just in case anyone hadn't twigged - you can have more than one account, just use a different email adress for each one. I currently have a German arty/Tank Destroyer line, another account just for German tanks and a third for Russki armour.

I actually love this game. Once you get to realise what tactics are best for a given map/starting area you can have a lot of fun. Took me till yesterday for instance, to realise that Arty are totally useless in Himmelsdorf, and your best bet is to roam about behind the heavy tanks acting as a pop out tankbuster. And if you are starting at the north end of the Mines map as arty, fire off a few shells at the little raised platform abouve the south start area that overlooks the town. You always get some fools up there and its possible to get up to 3 easy kills right off the bat

One of my main gripes, on 2560x1600 it is too small and i woud like to be able to like Rift be able to move it and also resize.

Decided to go back to playing Artillery. using my USA M41 at the moment and 70kxp into getting the T6 M12.

Have a T5 Wolverine TD and a USA T5 T1 Heavy Tank but do not often play them, as well as a German Panzer IV.

Got to a Hummel, then also got to a Stug, then got to a Panzer Mk IV... and the grind to the next level vehicle on each looked so soul deastroyinly boring I just faded away and gradually stopped playing.
