sps breif history the foundering members were long term players in United kingdoms in eq we split off from UK when all the dkp heavy raiding became to much for us to take and formed a small family casual guild to enjoy the game as we pleased.(the guild leader and most of officers are cuk members but rarely read the boards as only really play wow and wanted to keep the sps name alive in the new game), we operate on the basic princeables of cuk anit cheat friendly and polite.
as some of u know i was part of the cuk guild in wow for awhile but left once i saw all the peeps i enjoyed playing with in eq were in sps.
we dont tell peeps how to play we do have a set bais's under which raids are formed to insure theres progress made i'm sure ren can explain it when shes back from work.
all that we ask is that you treat everyone fairly and above all just play for fun.

raid wise we've been doing 20 mans for about 5 months now i guess not rly been paying attenion to timeing as we just go at whatever pace we feel like, we average about 20+ folks online most night now with requrely raid fri/sat/sun. with the odd ubrs run done when peeps want to, obously 5 mans are formed up by peeps who want to go. if u need a hand theres normaly peeps about with free time to help out but obously this wont be true all the time as peeps will have there own stuff to sort aswell

Obvious questions :

How does this work and when does it start?

Ok. How will it happen?

ok first you will give me 1000 gold, i will then supplied you with the name and address of our man in Cairo

once you contract him in person, you will hand over all clanuk guild related armour and items, ie any thing that bares our seal
if he is happy that you have done that he will supply the name of your contract in istanbul, you will travel over land vie a camel train taking care not to talk to anyone or let slip what your goal is.
once you have made contract with the istanbul agent he will access you by asking your some question. make sure you answer them truthful as he will be sending you on a mission based on your answers.

if you successfully complete the mission make your way to Moscow
book into the Moscow Hilton and wait there till you are contracted by a lady with a bit too much facial hair. she will take you to what seems like a gas pipe line but is really a high speed rail link (by the way u might want to bring a book for this part, riding in a pipe is a bit boring no windows u see)
once you arrive in france you will be met by a member of the france GoA resistance. she will get you on the the secret underground railway which will bring you to the English channel,
secure your self a fishing boat and cross the channel and return home

that should take you a week after which you contract one of the sps officers to join the sps guild then nip over and setup your sps fourm account

its really up to u guys if ui decided to al join on the same day, if so arrange it between urself and let an officer of SPS now, or if u are going to join individually when u are on as and when u log, then again just contact a member of SPS and they will alert an officer that u are ready for an invite.

As to classes, no the is no problem in whatever class people are. i do have a Minimum Class Requirment for Raid in use. Which means that i have 14 slots taken up by certain classes, on a first come first serve basis, and the other 6 slots are filled by random classes. this chages depending on what bosses we are going for, and will obviously be diffrent for 40-man raids, but i post a week in advance what is needed so it gives peeps plenty of time to see what classes are needed and time to sing up, althiugh it is pretty hectic at the moment. but dont worry i have a contingency for to may signups!!!

Athough i have voted yes, i dot intend to move all my characters there. I am a novice in every sense of the word as far as 'raiding' is concerned and I do feel a little worried about trying to get more experience with people that are very experienced, As most of you know I have MS and find it difficult to work the keyboard and mouse at times which is fine with people I have played with before , but if they take it too seriously will I be not included as time goes by just because I cant keep up tp pace.

LoL, no worries lyndy we dont take raidng to seriously, and i go a bit slower in my raids compared to others particukarly because i now its all new to some people. U wont be excluded if ur a little slow, we'll take that into consideration and adjust for it hun.
I still remember my first days at raiding, i had no-one telling me what to do, when to do it and what was gonna happen,or even where we was going. and the boss fights!! og the boss fights were a nightmare. So because of my own personal experiances i make sure that everyone gets time to ask questions if they dont understand, and im always available during the week for u to pick my brains.
Please peeps dont worry about raiding, we really arnt that serious about it, we do it because its fun and we all enjoy it. we do have a bit of structure in the higher lvl raids bu thats just otherwise stuff wouldnt get done. Ull see hopefully and ull love it. Ask ur fellow CUK'ers who have come on out raids.

So sorry peeps, but i will be taking Bele to another guild, i shall be leaving my alts in cuk, as i don't want to loose touch with the friends i have made in the guild. I have decided to go to Frosrtmourne Hunters, as there are friends in there that i have done instances with on a few occasions. I do hope that you all know that this decision was not taken lightly, and i will miss the bantering that went on on the guild chat. I hope that all that go to SPS, have all the fun and rewards that they deserve. It has been great being with you, and i have enjoyed it. Hope to catch up with you, and speak to you in the game.

Hi peeps, its a sad time for me as i enjoyed clan uk and will miss all of u a lot. I am moving to frostmourne hunters, the main reason for this is the use of teamspeak for raids, which i have used before and find it so helpfull. To be honest i don't want to move at all, if this situation had not come up, i would have been happy as things were. Hope to speak to you all in game, and wish you all the best of luck. I will be leaving at least 1 alt in Cuk, can't totally let go. All the best Danny.
