hehe, it's possibly not hard when you've been as often as you have and you're used to it like yardy says, but i'm not. bear in mind clan has rarely done 20 man and i *never* have; it's *busy*. stand here, target these, when this happens, hit those not those, don't do this, roll on those until wednesday, don't move your coat down onto the lower peg etc. ok, i exaggerate for effect, but it's tricky.

i take your point about looting mid-fight; i don't.

Must admit the looting in mid fight is getting a little more than annoying at present & as Ren said is leading to people just clicking to get them off the screen & out of the way as they cover the centre of the main window, why Blizzard couldn't have the option to display over to one side or even the top of the screen or is there an addon that does that job maybe. So people have to become more restrained in their clicking - remember the loot isn't going anywhere, it will still be there at the end of the fight & whilst you are looting the rest of the raid is covering your behind to keep you alive to be able to loot - or not if looting causes a wipe

If it became neccesary to create 2 raids on certain nights I'm sure some of the members with experience of the raid zones would be glad to swap about so that the newer members get experience of all the zones etc - it will only strengthen the guild in the long run as long as the mix of classes stays right & remember that you don't always need a priest to heal just as you don't always need a warrior to tank

To everyone who hasnt raided before, its very confusing at first, I remember my first raid in EQ1 and it was a nightmare, no idea where to stand, what to hit, what not to do. All I can say is do the raids, enjoy them and listen to the raid leader. Being a raid leader is a nightmare job and anyone who does it deserves 100% support from everyone there. Its a really tiring job to do. Oh and ask someone of the same class who has raided before what you should do, I always found the classes supported each other Most of all have a great time, I miss raiding even now, a good 12 months after the last one I did!!

SPS are a great bunch of peeps, I raided with a lot of them in EQ1 and grouped in WoW occasionally when I still played and I think all of you who go over will enjoy the atmosphere and guild ethos

hard to be active after you win custody of 2 boys

work upto 15 hrs a day

and still have to fit everything else in.

Also when i do play its PvP as i get instant action ( for what its worth in WoW)

legs m8 it not about size. on paper we can get 20 players, trouble is most 20 man inst need 3 tanks we have only 2, same goes for all the inst that we can do.
to do the bosses u need a tank many a night we enough players on to fill a 5/10 man inst. but if that 5/10 man inst want to do the bosses u need a tank classes and often u find we be missing those classes making it hard to do those inst.

also many a night we have 7/8 people on, it great for the 5 who do the inst, sad for the 2/3 who don't. what are they to do, go play alts,
hopefully in the larger guild they get a group.

and yes they lowering the number of people for SOME inst. not all so what u saying is stay in clanuk get to do a inst a year after every one else, how long will we have to wait till they lower the current inst to a point were clanuk as it stands now could do it. 2-3 years maby more, and what will blizzard bring out in the meant time that need more people than we can muster what shall we continue pay our subs in the hope that in a few years we be able to play it

Can you get bladdered and pull Rattlegore* when the Priest has no mana, and wipeout the group after we have tried four times and still get an LOL what a drunken chimp you are Kegs see you soon?**

*Kegs was one of the first groups on the server to kill Rattlegore and the entire raid nasties when the game went live so his sober/slightly pissed raid l33t skills are not in question he can if he wants too.

**Kegs can be a responsible member of the raid group, this is taken as an example can it be so?

Any particular reason people are trying to start a flame war based on unfortunate events that have led a once proud gaming clan into a situation where they're a fucking joke?

ClanUK is always one of the first guilds created in any new game but in the long term the membership can't stick together for the good of the community.
I find it strange that people that can't do that continue to come back and assert their self perceived right to stand on their soapbox in that community time and time again.

Speaking for myself, the move to SPS has revitalised for me what was a dying game. The people are nice and welcoming and despite reports to the contrary loot rules are not rocket science.
