Monday is Guild Night

Oops, was going to be on to help last night... completely forgot and played Nexus - The Jupiter Incident all night. Sorry.

The first quest and one of the others are pretty easy, but some of them are damn hard, especially hard to find a group (one starts from frontier gate.. stood there for 30mins and didn't see anyone looking for a group for it) also you can only have a 4 person party from there too... so its titans against 4 :(

They were probly in the middle of a quest/mission or some such, its hard to notice guild chat when your in the middle of a fight.

Once we get into a mission we go Teamspeak & often don't monitor the Guild Chat as much as we should. So sorry if we missed you it wasn't personnal :)

As Bane says in this thread the fundamental weakness of GuildWars is that it is 'over instanced'. I've come to agree with this.

It's really nothing personal, but if a game has started it's impossible to invite anyone to join in (PITA) and we very probably won't notice Guild Chat (green as it is - the same damned colour as all the game information).

Even when we DO notice, we may be heavily involved in a mission in a PUG (as I was last night).

It really isn't rudeness on our part, but the way this weakness in the game design makes people behave or seem to behave.

Worse still, in a large Guild I would expect people to actually turn Guild Chat OFF once they are in an instance, since dozens of chatlines could be a distraction.

The only real chance of having a say in what happens on a Monday night is to get there early (7PM) and make your request then. Otherwise it's a matter of getting lucky when we have finished what we are doing.

When I delete a character soon to start a new one, I might well make quite a few invitations to the Guild and see who has the stamina to stick with it. Those will be the ones we sponsor officially.

Won't be on tonight. Installed the FFXI mmorpg last night and during the update it screwed up which eventually sent XP FUBAR.

So I'm busy reinstalling EVERYTHING from scratch.

I couldn't actually see the CUK boards last night. Coalman told me when he got on though.

We tried some PvP (HoH) for a while last night. We got slaughtered as expected!

To tired to kick youngest off PC tonight he finally gave it up to me at 10pm so to late for anything apart from Forum reading & e-mail replies :( will try & get on tomorrow night

Looks like Monday nights are gonna be a no go for a while as youngest has laid claim to the PC on that night on the understanding that I get the PC when I want on any other night. So looks like Tuesday nights & maybe Wednesday nights will be my main nights for the forseeable :(

Looks like Mondays is going to be an FFXI night for me if this low level catchup group gets going properly.

A change of night would be advisable.

I'll be back in GW soon btw. Haven't reinstalled it yet. Just been levelling hard in FFXI to be able to play with some of the regular peeps here.
